Listen to your Voice

When working David Guetta, Alan Walker, Zedd, Avicii, Calvin Harris, and techno beats and music helps me focus. It seemed kind of weird because I have no favorite genre of music.

I listen to everything.

But tonight, it has dawned on me, I love listening to beats and my thoughts at the same time.

I concur my fears and face my demons. Scary… yes. Necessary… 100%.

You concur your inner thought by listening to them, indulge in their nonsense and or creative, choice which to follow and entertain them.

I call them my Holy Spirit, so I listen, and have a conversation with them.

You call them intuition, sixth sense, or the subconscious mind. It really does not matter what you call them.

What matters is...

Are you listening to them? Or do you fear the unknown?

The reason this generation is labelled confused in my two sense is because we do not know how to forge a path for ourselves.

You are either following or following.

Think about it...

You follow a celebrity, musician, politician or whoever is famous at the time. They follow other more famous people. At the end of the day, you have no idea who the hell you are following.

You listen to what they listen, watch what they watch, do what they do.

Your inner voice is stifled, suffocated even. You cannot hear it under all these noise.

I am not justifying my working beats preference, it is also noise.

In fact there was an animation book that highlights in BOLD that I should be working in silence.

So, according to my reasoning today, I too fear the silence and the thoughts in my head but I entertain them more than the common person.

You doubt me...

Simply look at my life. I have been able to rise from the bottomless pit that is the life of a follower of a follower to a follower that is able to think and follow consciously NOT unaware of where I spent my time and energy.

It may have taken me some time to get back to writing my blog but that is life for a person that lives for passion. It's not a duty but a journey.

I'm not late to the party. I have arrived just in time.

Listen to your voice. Blessed Sunday.
